We are constantly looking for eager, experienced and talented Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database Administrators and Consultants who are motivated and driven.

We also run an annual learnership programme in the various database disciplines. We recruit young dynamic university graduates and put them through a rigorous training program, thereafter the successful candidates are offered employment with the company to join our team of database administrators.

Education, Qualifications and Necessary Experience for:
  • Principal Database Consultant (all criteria for Database Consultant/Administrator plus)
    • At least 5 years experience in database administration
    • Detail knowledge of Clustering, Replication and Partitioning
    • In depth understanding of relevant Database Technology architecture
    • Strong performance tuning abilities including code optimizations
    • Problem Solver
  • Database Consultant/Administrator (all criteria for Learnership Program plus)
    • At least 3 years experience in database administration
    • Detail knowledge of Integration and Reporting Services (if MS-SQL)
    • Strong T-SQL or PL/SQL abilities
    • Vendor Certification in Database Administration is advantageous
    • Proficient in Unix/Linux (if Oracle)
  • Database Administrator Internship
    • At least 60% for Maths and Science in Grade 12
    • National Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
    • Self Motivator

  • Junior Accountant
    • Duties:
    • Capture and reconcile cashbooks
    • Accounts receivable and payable function
    • Journals
    • Fixed Assets
    • Prepare financial statements, analyse and reporting
    • Liaise between customers, suppliers and management
    • Also:
    • Cash flow forecasts
    • Company statutory and secretarial responsibility
    • Audit assistance
    • Research
    • Qualifications and Skills:
    • National Diploma / BCom / BCompt Degree in Accounting or Finance
    • 5+ years’ experience preferred
    • Practical experience in the duties listed above
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced office environment
    • Computer literacy: Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • (Sage Evolution experience will be advantageous)
    • Reliable transport / reliable public transport
    • Candidate will write a test in first interview
